Kolm Solutions Limited Warranty Policy

At Kolm Solutions, we are committed to providing high-quality refurbished laptops that perform like new. Each device undergoes rigorous testing, meets manufacturer standards, and includes genuine software under our Microsoft Authorized Third-Party Refurbisher program.

 

We offer a 2-Year Limited Warranty to ensure our customers enjoy peace of mind with their purchase.

 

1. Warranty Coverage

This warranty applies to all laptops purchased directly from Kolm Solutions and covers:

1. Hardware Defects: Failures caused by defects in materials or workmanship, including:

• Internal components (e.g., motherboard, CPU, RAM, SSD, display).

• Keyboard, touchpad, and ports.

2. Battery: Functional defects within the first 6 months from the purchase date.

3. Pre-installed Software: Issues related to genuine Windows 11 Pro software provided under the Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher program.

 

2. Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

1. Accidental Damage: Drops, spills, impacts, or liquid damage.

2. Normal Wear and Tear:

• Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, or worn keys).

• Battery capacity degradation.

3. Unauthorized Repairs or Modifications: Any device tampered with or repaired by third-party services.

4. External Factors:

• Power surges, natural disasters, or environmental damage.

• Damage caused by improper use or storage.

5. Software Issues: Problems caused by viruses, malware, or unauthorized software installation.

 

3. Warranty Claim Process

If you experience an issue, follow these steps to file a warranty claim:

2. Inspection:

• Devices must be returned to Kolm Solutions for inspection to determine warranty eligibility.

• Customers are responsible for shipping costs to our service center.

3. Resolution:

• If the issue is covered under warranty:

• The product will be repaired at no cost, or

• If repair is not possible, it will be replaced with a similar or equivalent model.

• Repairs or replacements do not extend the original warranty period.

 

4. Warranty Limitations

• Kolm Solutions’ liability is limited to repair or replacement of the laptop.

• We are not responsible for:

• Data loss: Customers must back up their data before returning a device.

• Indirect or incidental damages, such as loss of business, downtime, or inconvenience.

 

5. Non-Transferability

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.

 

6. Disclaimer of Manufacturer Affiliation

“All trademarks, logos, and brand names, including Lenovo®, Dell®, HP®, and Microsoft®, are the property of their respective owners. Kolm Solutions is an independent reseller and Microsoft Authorized Third-Party Refurbisher. This warranty is provided solely by Kolm Solutions and is not affiliated with or provided by HP, Dell, or Lenovo.”
